This month let's turn your focus towards bringing more fun back into your life. Having fun can mean many different things to different people, so let's look at some ways to bring more enjoyment back into your day. This week is about remembering to or learning how to laugh more.
Quote
Laughter might be the only contagious thing that you actually want to catch. So, laugh whenever you get the chance, and laugh hard even when people give you funny looks. The right kind of person will start laughing too, without even knowing why. -- Anonymous
It's an interesting phenomenon that just one person laughing can get other people laughing as well even when they have no idea what is funny.
Today's Coaching Challenge
"What are some ways you can incorporate more laughter into your daily routine, and how might this positively impact your overall well-being?
Do you currently limit or hold back your laughter or are you like me and laugh frequently throughout the day? Some people were raised in a household where they were supposed to be serious, proper, and silent, however, if you are now living on your own you can create a new reality regarding humor and what steps can you take to allow yourself to laugh freely and openly?"
Action to take
Try these ideas; call a friend that laughs a lot, listen to comedy on Spotify or iTunes, or go onto YouTube and search for a particular comedian or just search my favorite type of comedy, such as slapstick, highbrow, or sarcastic.
Always supporting you, Jan
P.S. If your sense of humor is in intensive care, do what George did and schedule a call .
