This month, our discussions evolve around calming the chaos and reducing distractions.  This can be more difficult for the younger generations since they have had keypads, screens, and social media their whole lives.  It is nonetheless important to set aside time away from social media at least occasionally so you can see the sky or speak with the person right in front of you.  This week, let's create a 'No Social Media" zone.

We miss so much when our focus is always on a screen.  Look up at the sky, or appreciate the trees, the flowers, or anyone that matters to you.  Billions of dollars are spent trying to keep you focused on your screen, but you have a choice; you are still in charge.

Today's Coaching Challenge

What specific times or places in your day can you set aside to be completely off social media, and how might these boundaries help you stay more present and focused on what matters most?

When engrossed in social media or the internet, it can be easy to forget that the people who matter most to you, your family, friends, or even the people in your community, will not live forever.  It would be a shame if you missed out on time with the people that you love the most because you were connecting with strangers that mean nothing to you.

Action to take

Create a boundary by setting a no-phone policy during gatherings with family or friends, ensuring you’re fully engaged and present with loved ones.

 Always supporting you,                                                                                                                                                                                                  Jan

P.S.  While this can be a challenge, it is doable.  Please reply and let me know how it working for you.
