Stress shows up in all kinds of ways—but one of the simplest ways to counter it is through laughter. It’s a natural way to reset, recharge, and reconnect with what feels good.  This week let's create a laughter bank.

 Quote

“Keep a file of fun. When you find something that makes you laugh out loud, save it. Laughter is like sunshine for the soul — you’ll be glad you bottled some for a rainy day.”  – Barbara Johnson

Life can be overwhelming, but laughter is one of the best tools we have for lightening the load. When something makes you laugh out loud — really laugh this is an opportunity to completely shift gears and change your focus even for a few minutes from your problems to the lighter side of your life. Those little moments become treasures when the days feel heavy.

Today's Coaching Challenge

What made you laugh out loud recently — and did you save it or let it slip away? If you had a “smile file,” what kinds of things would you want to keep in it?

I think we have all made comments like, "Someone told me the funniest joke" or " I saw the cutest video" only to not fully remember what it was. or where you found it, it slipped away.  I saved a joke that brings me to tears of laughter every time I read it and I feel so much better (really glad I saved it).

Action to take

Whether it’s a digital folder, a notebook, or a box on your desk — start collecting funny memes, quotes, silly photos, and joyful memories. When stress creeps in, pull something from your file.

Always supporting you,                                                                                                                                                                                                  Jan
