Sometimes the reason we feel stuck isn’t because we don’t know what to do. It’s because we’re trying to do too much at once. We look at everything on our plate, everything we should be doing, everything we haven’t done yet—and instead of moving forward, we feel overwhelmed before we even begin. When something feels big, our brain tends to treat it like it’s complicated, time-consuming, or something we need to “gear up” for. So,we wait. And in that waiting, things tend to stay exactly where they are.

 Quote

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.” — Lao Tzu

There’s a simplicity to this idea that we often overlook. We don’t need to map out the entire journey before we begin. We just need to take the first step. That step doesn’t need to be impressive or perfectly thought out—it just needs to happen. And once it does, something shifts. You’re no longer stuck in thinking…you’re in motion.

Today's Coaching Challenge

What is something you’ve been overthinking that could be started with one simple step?

Sometimes the very thing we’ve been analyzing, delaying, or mentally organizing is the exact thing that would feel lighter the moment we simply begin. The overthinking creates the weight—not the task itself.
