Every interaction you have — whether it’s with a client, a co-worker, a family member, or a stranger — creates a ripple. The words you choose, the energy you carry, even your tone of voice all send something out into the world. The question is: what are you leaving behind in your wake?

 Quote

“Everything we do and say is like a pebble tossed into a pond. It has a ripple effect that we often cannot see.”  — Unknown

This quote is a gentle nudge to be mindful of our impact. Sometimes we breeze through our day without realizing how deeply a hurried comment or a warm smile might land with someone else. Whether your presence soothes or stresses others often comes down to how intentional you are.

Today's Coaching Challenge

If someone were to describe how they feel after interacting with you, what would you hope they’d say?

When we pause to consider our ripple, we take ownership of our influence. It’s not about being perfect — it’s about being present enough to choose kindness over convenience, empathy over efficiency, and connection over control.

Action to take

Today, choose one interaction to be fully intentional about — a conversation, a phone call, or even a quick check-in. Ask yourself before and after, “How do I want this person to feel?” Then let that answer guide the way you show up.
