This month the focus is on laughter as a stress reducer.  It's a beautiful thing because it's free, easy to share or receive, and has many health benefits in addition to the reduction of stress.  This week is about being willing to be more childlike.

You can be childlike without being childish.  A child always wants to have fun.  Ask yourself, "Am I having fun?"--Christopher Meloni

By the time a child reaches kindergarten, he or she is laughing some 300 times a day.  Compare that to the typical adult who, one study found, laughs a paltry 17 times a day. I love to laugh so 17 times a day is not acceptable to me.  However, if you have gotten out of the habit of laughing you might need a little help redeveloping that skill.  There are so many things to make us laugh, sometimes we just have to stop and notice them.

Today's Coaching Challaenge

Today I challenge you to quit taking your grown-up life so seriously and have some fun.  Are you up for the challenge?  Wouldn't that feel great?

We were all kids once and we remember some of the silly or stupid things we did.  Heck, think of some of the silly things we still do as adults .

Action to take

If you don't have a child in your inner circle to give you laughing lessons than check out the YouTube called "99% Lose This--Try Not to Laugh Challenge (Funniest Babies Vines).  It has over 212 million views and I was laughing out loud by the second clip.

Laugh more this week and have fun,                                                                                                                              Jan
